WebTruffes is an online shop selling fresh and preserved truffles and other related products. It was set up by a local assocation called l’Assocation Pour la Promotion de la Truffe et la Trufficulture, or AP2T.

They’re based in the Commune of Sorges in the Dordogne, an area renowned for the famous truffe noire du Périgord that grows there. The Assocation has existed since 1985 and founded the world’s first dedicated truffle museum, called L’Eco-Musée de la Truffe.

The assocation has recently rebranded itself as AP2T and wanted an online shop so that they could fulfil their aim of promoting and selling Périgord truffles nationally.

Using WordPress, we created them an eCommerce website with different shipping options for their product types (fresh, frozen etc). The site also has a host of information, access to some of which is restricted to members only and password aprotected.
