Some News From Port 80!

First off, we’d like to wish one and all a very happy and prosperous New Year! We hope you had an enjoyable festive break and that the return to work wasn’t too painful. We’d like to share with you a big development that occurred here at the end of last year.

We were recently contacted by one of our local competitors, a lovely lady by the name of Colleen Sims. Like us, Colleen is committed to producing professionally designed and affordable websites for small businesses, and she too has a proven track record in ethical SEO.

Another thing we share is a passion for music, but whereas we at Port 80 could at best be described as budding amateurs, Colleen and her band, Replay, are professionals and perform regularly at local events and private functions. In fact, the band was starting to take up so much of her time that something had to give.

She decided to step away from the website business to concentrate fully on the band, and we’re pleased to say that it was to Port 80 Services that she chose to hand over her business! We wish Colleen all the best in her new venture (and are suitably jealous of her new career!)

We wanted to wait until the handover was complete before announcing anything, but as of now, we’re officially up and running! Over the coming months, we will be reviewing our two business models and our 2 websites with a view to consolidating them.

While this “takeover” has led to us doubling in size, we’d like to assure you that we will continue to deliver the same services as before to all of our existing clients, and to all who have just joined us from Colleen’s business.

We already had a busy January lined up and now we’ve also inherited some new projects from Colleen, we will be focusing all our attention on meeting these commitments before we decide how best to proceed with our “merger”.
